SNUV Rusty Nail has a medium-fine grind with moist texture and medium-brown colour. The blend uses rustica tobacco as its base with medium-high nicotine strength. Primary notes include menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus, with secondary notes of cardamom, natural tobacco, and herbal elements.

The snuff follows the Indian style of medicated blends rather than European formulations. The menthol and camphor notes are balanced, with neither overpowering the other. The underlying tobacco sweetness supports the aromatic components while floral and earthy notes add depth to the blend.
