Van Erkoms Singletons Original has a medium grind with dry, free-flowing consistency and light to mid-brown colour. The blend combines Virginia and Rustica tobaccos with menthol as the primary note, followed by natural tobacco, earthy, and minty characteristics. The menthol is clean and sharp without being overwhelming.

The tobacco base has earthy and robust notes, with secondary hints of camphor, nutty, and smokey elements. Nicotine strength is medium-high. The snuff comes in a green plastic coin tin with a dispensing hole.
